Here you will find some notes on the demos I might do during the first part of the Workshop. These notes might not make sense to anyone other than me.

Two-bit Adder

Logic Gates

  1. Use switches and lightstone to demonstrate the basics of logic gates
  2. Build a 2-bit adder
  3. Describe the construction and operation of the 8-bit adder

Mesecons

  1. Use a blinky plant and a delayers to turn a row of lights on and off sequentially
  2. Use a switch, a luacontroller, and a terminal to display the status of the switch (on or off)

Basic Robot

  1. Program a robot to build a brick tower
