The months fly by, and the blog posts grow fewer and fewer ... Last fall was so busy that I really didn't have time to write about what we were doing, here in Library Systems. At least, not in the form of blog posts. One of our projects has recently been documented in an article published in the esteemed (in my professional universe, anyhow) Code4Lib journal. Entitled Digital Forensics in the Library, it describes a CARL grant-funded project to build an old workstation out of new parts, so as to be able to extract content from old computer media (think 5.25" and 3.5" floppy disks) stored in various collections in our Archives.
So that's one. Hopefully I'll be able to get back on track with more regular posts going forward.
